Adderall may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), certain antidepressants, other stimulant medicines, and medicines that affect blood pressure or heart rate. Combining amphetamine products with an MAOI or within the prohibited period after stopping an MAOI can cause dangerous increases in blood pressure.
